Theatre director and librettist Di Sherlock has written a beautiful book of poems, Come into the Garden, about her mother's experience of dementia.  Di visited groups in Memory Cafes and Extra Care, listening to their stories and sharing conversation to then create poems for and about the participants as a celebration and reflection of their lives.

The poems have been read at events at Victoria Library, My Memories Café, the Wellcome Collection, and two Dementia Action Alliance events by some of the participants. Poems have been on display at Omnibus art Centre during their Wellbeing Festival.
